I left Penny at home and set out with the specific goal of collecting all of the visible cans I could from the bottom. I say visible because over the years there have been many rock and trash slides down the mountain and there is a good amount of garbage buried under debris.
For the day, a full trash bag of crushed cans and one of plastic bottles was taken out. The find of the day was a can that clearly had been there awhile.
My plan was to take a photo of the bags at the top, but there were a lot of people there when I climbed up. All of which looked at me as if I were crazy when I popped up from the one ledge with trash bags in hand.
